What can I say but Ian loves to climb. Now when we lay something down or put something some where we have to think is Ian going to be able to scale this? He knows what of his toys or household items will get him higher. He knows if he turns his wagon over that holds his blocks and takes it to the chair he can sit in the big chair. I had a box that was leaning up against the cabinet at an angle and look over and Ian is hanging onto the top and pulling himself up and trying to get traction with his feet. So we see dare devil or acrobat in his future! Luckily no falls yet. If he gets in trouble and can't get down he just yells for help.

Christmas Tree is Up!
After Thanksgiving Robbie's parents were passing through from Georgetown on their way back to Oklahoma. They stayed with us for a couple of days. So Granny and Evan put up the tree and decorated it. Evan loves to decorate the tree and kept asking every five minutes if it was ready. We did it while Ian was sleeping and started talking about all the crazy things he was going to probably do but when he first saw it he was surprised but then acted like we had always had a 7.5 ft decorated pine tree in our living room. Of course over the days he has bothered it a little more but still doing very good for a 16 month old!

Post Thanksgiving
My sister had our extended family over Friday after Thanksgiving for dessert and coffee. Everyone brought something to share and it was sooooo good. I'm sure I added another 10 lbs that day. You of course had to try one of everything! It was so good to see all my Aunt, Uncles and cousins that were able to make it. There were lots of babies to watch and the older kids all hung out together and eventually went off to the park (thank you Julie for the chaperon). I'm sure our Grandma was watching over us that day and smiling.

Pre-Thanksgiving
Our Thanksgiving holiday started Tuesday with the arrival of Andy, Andrea, Aaron, Alex and Abby from Colorado. My mom and Neil came from Austin and my dad from Philadelphia, so everyone was here. We had so much fun and it was really a nice week of activities with family and friends. Tuesday and Wednesday is was so nice outside so the kids were outside a lot. They played basketball, dodge ball, launched rockets, and we made it to the duck pond/playground. Wednesday we had everyone to our house for tamales/tortilla soup. My friend Melissa came with her two boys and it was just a lot of fun to watch them all play and have a good time.
Evan and Aaron in awe of their cousin Dylan's dunking abilities.
