Ducks, bluebonnets and fun.

I have forever tried to get a picture in the bluebonnets. It's usually everything working against me and today was nothing different. I hadn't planned on pictures but saw the bluebonnets lined a little stone ledge at the park that we went to so I thought why not. I knew the sun was going to be in their eyes and the wind was crazy but I had to try. Maybe next year. It was fun feeding the ducks and playing on the playground.

Movie Night

For Evan's birthday he got Bedtime Stories so we all sat down to watch and of course had popcorn. I tried to get Ian to sit at the table to eat his but he saw Evan on the couch and had to be right next to him.

Fun in a box.

This is the way to brush your teeth...

Ian loves to brush his teeth and found a new way....laying in the sink.

Where's my duster?

Ian loves to help out around the house. So when I got the duster I let him have it and away he went about the house doing what he knows the duster does. Then he got quiet and I couldn't find him. I finally found him on the other side of our bed where he had gotten a pillow and was laying there pulling out the fibers of the duster. He just smiled when I said I got you!

Easter at Auntie's House

We spent the afternoon at my sister's house. Evan always likes hanging out with the big boys! Ian loves to hang out with Sophie (the dog). It was a very nice Easter lunch, thank you sissy. We took the boys outside so we could take some pictures. We got some good ones and then all broke loose. Either somebody wasn't looking, or smiling and then my nephew started making funny faces and Ian's reaction was funny. Not sure what all my brother-n-law got but here are some of mine. We were in tears by the end.

The boys after we got home. They were exhausted with all the fun we had.

Easter Morning

This was the first time we've had Easter hunting at our house. We are usually in Stillwater but Allen used Good Friday as a make-up day for snow and then ASA scheduled a baseball game Friday night so we stayed put. Evan was all ready to go and had found most before they even got started but a couple stumped him. They had found all and had chocolate dripping out of their mouths by 8:00. We head to Auntie's later in the afternoon for lunch.

Mmmmm, chocolate bunnies.

Coloring Easter Eggs

I miss the straight Paas egg coloring kits. Evan wanted one that was suppose to add sparkle to the eggs. Reading the directions they seemed simple enough so we brought that one but some how I managed to mess it up so we ended up with just colored eggs. Which in the end was fine. Evan thought they looked good but told me next time I need to read the directions better.

Baseball Game

Aunt Leslie came out to watch Evan's baseball game Friday night. She helped me corral Ian as much as possible and cheer on big brother.

Evan Easter Egg Hunt/Parade

Evan was excited for the hunt, not so excited about the bonnet parade. The hat soon came off and he told me he felt like a dork. They have a big playground area and the ground was covered with eggs but it took those kids about a minute to have every one of them picked up.

Evan and his good friend.

Ian's Easter Egg Hunt/Parade

Ian's class had an Easter egg hunt and then a bonnet parade. I thought if he saw me I might distract him so I tried to blend in..HA. He saw all those Easter eggs and went to town. Took him a little bit to pick them up and put them in his basket but he learned quickly. They then had a bonnet parade. He of course didn't want to keep his on so I didn't get good pictures.

Ian and his friend. One day the teacher wrote that his friend was on vacation and Ian kept walking around the class calling out for him.
