End of the Yankees season.

Our Yankees did so good this year. They were in tournament on Saturday and we won our first game but lost our second one which would've put them in the championship game on Sunday. They all played so good and we are all proud of them. Way to go Yankees! After our evening game on Saturday we had a little party for the boys. We were the last game so we had the place to ourselves. The boys got out and ran and slide into bases until pizza got there. Ian was in HEAVEN being able to play with the team and I'm pretty sure would love to have 11 boys to play with every day!

Baseball ready...

I'm pretty sure Ian will be able to skip t-ball and go right to baseball by the time he's actually able to play the sport. He watches everything Evan and Robbie work on and he wants to do the same. Maybe he'll be the Tiger Woods of baseball?

School is out!

I went to help with Evan's party. It was fun but the kids were SO crazy and we were fixing to give them sugar. Our room mom had this cute cake made with their picture and we had snacks. Every teacher has a name for their class and Mrs. Hammack's is Hammack's Hikers. Another mom made all the kids pillows and then passed them around in a circle and everyone signed their name and they could sign year books as well. Now onto summer camp.

1st Grade Awards

Robbie and me went to Evan's first grade awards. Little did we know we would be sitting through ALL the classes. Oh well. It was fun to see all their little faces light up when their name was called. Mrs. Hammack did a nice poem for the kids and since she read that she just read two of the three awards the child got. Evan got Super kid, Most Enthusiastic and Reading award. Way to go Evan!

Another tooth bites the dust...

Good thing Evan lost one big tooth at a time because that's all he has up top right now! This one again was just hanging by a root and it was so gross to watch him push it out and in. He finally got it out.

Visit from the O'Daniels...

Mark and Jenni were up because KyLeigh had a softball tournament in McKinney so Robbie's parents came down. So Friday night we watched Evan play. Saturday afternoon we watched Evan play again and then later Saturday went to KyLeigh's game and then another one on Sunday. I was asleep at the camera and didn't get many pictures. Here are a couple of Ashley throwing the ball to Ian and Ian showing his skills. We had a great visit with everyone.

Ft. Worth Zoo

Memorial Day we went to the Zoo. It was a nice day and we got there first thing in the morning so the animals for the most part were out and up and around. The lion was the funniest. We went by and he was sound to sleep but pretty soon we hear him roar and so we go back to look and he's sleep walking and roaring and then lays back down and back to sleep.

Memorial Weekend...

My friend invited us over to her house for a BBQ and fun. We somehow dodged all the rain storms that day and had a great time. Ian was in HEAVEN with the four dogs running around. One would walk by every 5 minutes and get petted. Of course they love short kids that are holding food in their hands!! It was lots of fun and the boys fell fast asleep and slept good! Thanks Tekla for having us over.

Amy and baby Brian.

Some of the kids playing horse shoes.

Happy Face....

Ian's friends...

My mother-in-law gave us this garden statue and Ian is so funny with the kids and goes up to them and kisses them and points at their book and talks with them and will sit on the end of the bench with them. It's so funny.

Easter Lilly's

So my Easter Lilly's never bloom in time for Easter, more like Mother's Day but nonetheless they are beautiful when they do come out. I got one from my sister and one from my mother-in-law when we moved into our house 7 years ago and they just multiply and go forever. I tried to get a picture of the boys but they were more interested in bugs...boys will be boys.

Brother's In Action...

Grandma and Papa Visit

Grandma and Papa Neil came to visit for the weekend and hoped to get in a baseball game and see all the other grand kids. Unfortunately it rained all day Saturday so Evan's baseball game was rained out but we had a nice visit, played inside baseball and celebrated Will's birthday. It was a fun weekend with lots of laughs.
