Ian's 2nd Birthday

We had just a little party for Ian before we left for vacation since he would be turning two while we were gone and some of the toys were for the trip for entertainment! A friend at work made his cake, it turned out so cute and Ian LOVED it. He was so shy while we were singing to him it was cute. Happy Birthday Ian, we love you!

Storms...

We had bad storms come through a couple of weeks ago in the morning and first Ian was up and then quickly Evan. At first Ian was laying on our bed with his blanket over his head. Then while I was in the bathroom putting make-up on they got in the closet and then Evan went to watch cartoons and Ian followed right with him and sat down next to him.

Baseball

Ian playing baseball in the house. We have had to limit the balls in the house because he's to good at hitting and throwing and something will be breaking soon. He's also taken to hitting the balls like a golf ball and does it well.

Messy Face...

It's been awhile since I've had a messy face worth a picture but tonight was it. He was eating a Happy Meal and I decided to let him have the Carmel dip with the apple this time and he had ketchup with his nuggets and then chocolate milk. So the nuggets went in the dip and the apples in ketchup and eventually the hands went in both.

Fourth of July in OK

I was really bad about pictures this visit. I got a few when we went up to the playground by Granny's house and then some before we went to the fireworks (that were rained out) but none of the rest of the family. We had a good time except we missed out on the fireworks again. It was a great night as a few storms had come through earlier and we thought we were clear for the night but they came back. The City of Stillwater man announced the approaching storms and asked us to wait in our cars and they would shoot them off as soon as they passed. We kind of sat around talking about what to do when a huge crack of lightening went off and everyone cleared off quickly. We waited in Robbie's brother's car for awhile and then decided to head home because it was already close to ten and it was pouring rain. But we had lots of fun seeing different family that were up visiting. The sad news was Patty's sister not doing very good and they were deciding about hospice coming in.

July 4th Parade

Primrose had their annual Fourth of July parade. The kids in all the classrooms make something different and it's really cute to see the different things they can come up with. Ian's class was late getting out there and Ian was one that didn't really want to walk. Who could blame them it was one of those 108 days!! So the teacher saw Robbie and pointed him out to Ian and then he walked with Evan and Robbie.

Out of order but Robbie walking with Evan and Ian.

This was a shirt that Evan had when he was Ian's age. I found the pictures of Evan wearing it and it's so funny to see how similar they are. Evan just had the chubbier face.
