Grandma and Papa Visit

Grandma and Papa Neil came to visit for the weekend and hoped to get in a baseball game and see all the other grand kids. Unfortunately it rained all day Saturday so Evan's baseball game was rained out but we had a nice visit, played inside baseball and celebrated Will's birthday. It was a fun weekend with lots of laughs.

What are big brothers for....

This is Ian's usual seat when Evan's watching TV. Then it usually turns into piggy back rides or bronco horse. Ian will start pulling on his hair to try to get him up if he won't move.

Another tooth gone...

The baby teeth are slowly disappearing. Today another is lost and Evan showed me his other big tooth is now loose. He may be toothless on top by the time we're done. Of course he wants to show me how it's just hanging and I just don't do well with that at all. When you can push your tooth one way and then the other way...yuck.

Mother's Day

We went to Stuart, Oklahoma for Mother's Day. Robbie's family always gets together up there and goes to church and then has a HUGE lunch. Evan has always had a good time because there's lots of kids and lots of area to just run. They have horses, dogs, critters...it's a boys heaven. This year is was chilly and rainy but they did get to go outside for some of the time. It was great to see everyone and visit. I also got beautiful flowers and some lovely art and jewelry from Evan. Ian made me a poem with his hand print. It was a beautiful day.

Poor little guy...

Ian had been having a cough and runny nose but no fever or anything so we just thought maybe allergies until later in the week he got a high fever so I took him to the doctors the next morning to find out he had a sinus infection, bronchitis and strep throat. So needless to say we were home the rest of the day and rested.

Spring Fling

We went to the boy's Spring Fling at Primrose. It was lots of fun to see all our friends and catch up. They had bounce houses, games, food and cute crafts that the individual classes made to auction off. Ian really wanted a apple so Robbie showed him how to do the bobbing for apples game. Evan spent most the time on the bounce house.

Quiet isn't always good...

I was wondering what was keeping my toddler so quiet so I went looking for him. He had pushed out the chair climbed up on the table and snagged Evan's other Oreo pop tart after I told him he couldn't have it. He had downed the whole thing as quick as he could and had oreo all over the place. Terrible two's here we come.
